We have a new look!
It’s a “brand” new day for SJVC. That’s because today we announce our newly refreshed logo and branding guidelines.
The new look and feel reflects nearly a year of collaboration and hard work among staff, faculty, and students. The result? A refreshed logo that features a new modern and clean typeface, a refined bug, brighter colors, and the addition of the new descriptor line, ‘A Private Career College.’
SJVC President Nick Gomez will unveil the new logo, along with several brand updates, in a Town Hall meeting on November 1st that will be attended by over 1000 faculty and staff members. The meeting will be followed by celebrations at each campus.
So why a new look? And why now?
While we look forward to the New Year and 45th anniversary of SJVC, it is important that we celebrate the past, look to the future, and imagine the possibilities.
When someone decides to embark on a new career, the college they choose is everything. Ultimately, one should expect more from a college than merely a diploma. They should expect to gain the knowledge and skills to begin their career with confidence. To be career ready.
And while our programs are designed to get students career ready, we also genuinely care about each and every one of their successes, both during and after their attendance at SJVC. For over 40 years, this has been a family-owned college, and we consider our students to be family, too. So, our family-like qualities should come through across every consumer touchpoint and communicate a brand that is warm, authentic, and approachable that SJVC has been from the start.
As we strengthen our identity with the new logo and branding, we look forward to continuing to work together to support and highlight the excellence of our students, faculty, and staff.
