With a love for numbers and a desire for a quick education, SJVC’s business administration program was a great fit for Rancho Cucamonga student Celia Rabago. After discovering that the program was quick and finding she could search for a job directly after graduation, she knew SJVC was the school for her.
“I always wanted to go to college and just finish fast and start my career fast – here they offer that. It’s just 14 months and then you have your first degree. Other schools take about four years just to get your Associate’s.”
Rabago’s choose the business administration program after years of watching her aunt be an accountant. She learned that business is an open field that could lead to many different places after graduation. Rabago was positive that this was the direction she wanted to head towards.
After she began the program, she found even more things she liked. She loved the fact that the school was intimate and there were not a large amount of students in each class. This helped for on- on-one help from the instructors. The help from the instructors as well as counselors really helped Rabago, as she is the first one in her family to go to college.
“It has been a positive learning experience,” states Rabago.
