SJVC Interview with Employer Crown Technical Systems

Crown Technical Systems (CTS) is a manufacturing company headquartered in California’s Inland Empire with additional production and engineering facilities in Texas and Canada. The company was founded in 1996 with only a handful of employees and continues to design, engineer and manufacture power distribution equipment that supports the electrical grid across the United States. While specializing in customized solutions for today’s infrastructure, CTS has since become an industry leader with more than 300 employees.

How were they able to achieve this success? There are many reasons why, but part of it comes from hiring experienced staff members that are highly motivated. So in order to help get a better understanding of what they’re looking for in an employee, and why they continue to hire graduates from SJVC’s Electrical Technology program, we decided to speak with Recruiting Coordinator, Gabby Bayne, for some additional insight on what they look for in a new team member.
